Examining Christmas

Like Examining Gospel Timelines, this project started with basic curiosity. Having heard countless Christmas sermons, I needed to reconcile the timeline, especially the whole "Nativity Scene." When I finished, I'd found what I was looking for. As a result, I created a book with the following topics:
Chapter One: The Scarlet Thread--This one tackles the "name lists" and some fun facts.
Chapter Two: What to Expect When You're Expecting the Christ--An OT study of the Christ.
Chapter Three: Mary, Mary--focus on the Virgin Mary.
Chapter Four: Quite Contrary--a look at the other Marys in the Gospel.
Chapter Five: A Message about Messengers--the angelic visit to Zacharias
Chapter Six: Preparing the Way--a study of John the Baptist.
Chapter Seven: Songs and Blessings--Mary said WHAT? Powerful stuff...
Chapter Eight: Heir to the Promise--a closer look at Joseph
Chapter Nine: City of David--a look at the villains of the time
Chapter Ten: Two Giving Figs--a look at Anna and Simeon
Chapter Eleven: Gifts of the Wise Men--my favorite chapter. Tons of lore.
Chapter Twelve: Out of Africa--Why did they go to Egypt?
